Abingdon, VA, May 19, 2026 — Sean McMurray, Executive Director of Wellspring Foundation of Southwest Virginia, has announced his intention to retire at the end of the year. As the Foundation prepares for this transition, it has engaged BoardWalk Consulting to lead the search for its next Executive Director.
BoardWalk Consulting is a national executive search firm devoted exclusively to supporting the leadership and governance needs of foundations and nonprofits. BoardWalk has recruited dynamic leaders for over 500 nonprofit and grantmaking clients across the nation since its founding in 2002.
